Biography:
The DJ from Zoetermeer that plays club,
trance, techno, classics and started DJing seriously
in September 1996.
"I
like to please the people with my music. When
I see those happy faces of the party people, my
whole night is complete."
His inspiration
comes from famous DJ’s like Carl Cox, Erick-E,
Paul van Dyk and Tom Harding. Stef started at
a friends house with his 2 records and cd’s.
Later he tried to mix with cd’s by measuring
the beats per minute and mixing it together with
his new Alecto mixer. September 1996 he made the
big step by buying record players and many records.
One year later he bought the famous SL-1200 record
turntables because he wanted to become a professional.
Since Stef won the DJ Contest in Locomotion Zoetermeer
like other famous Dutch DJ's, he wants to take
DJ-ing to a more serious track and try to get
higher in the league of DJs and please more people.
In 1986 Stef went to the music school of Zoetermeer
to learn to play keyboard. Since April 1999 BMG
discovered Stef and gave him a publishers contract,
and now producing has become more serious track
too.
Since 1997
Stef produced a CD series called "The Mellow
Factory" and became very populair in 1998
and 1999. Almost every month Stef made a brand
new mix with the latest club and trance tracks
for promotion. Because of Stef's wide range of
music styles he has also produced other CD's with
Techno and Hard-Energy music.
