Biography:
Grew up in West London and started listening
to pirate stations and early breakbeat hardcore
in about 1991. Liked it so much that I started
buying vinyl in about 1992 and got my first decks
in 1993.
First break was playing
on Don 105.7FM (The best drum n bass pirate
in London) and its derivatives from 95-96. Was
involved when it became the first legal radio
station to play non-stop underground dance music
with a months license.
Then lived in Edinburgh
for 4 years where I played at various venues
and nights, mostly for promoter friends who
held nights. Helped establish a night in Nottingham
called Slammin Da Breaks / Insight by playing
the main D&B set in the main room.
Came back to London and
got a serious job for 2 years. Hated it, and
it gave me no time or energy to DJ so I quit
with a healthy bank balance and decided to set
up a bedroom studio.
Currently studying again
on an Audio Engineering course at SAE and tryng
to promote my music and DJing. At present more
time and effort is being placed into my productions,
but I've still been a DJ for over 10 years and
play out whenever I can.
