Biography:
It appears that the combination of a
DJ with ten years of experience, and an equally
experienced producer is a voucher for success.
Last year Ernesto vs Bastian had a breakthrough
with their 12" single release Lonely People,
which was played by almost every famous DJ, from
Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine to Tiësto. Next
to that Judge Jules acclaimed this track 'Dance
Record Of The Year 2002 ' on BBC Radio 1. Meanwhile
Lonely People became a cult hit, widely known
in the underground dance scene. It sold more than
10.000 copies.
The next track, called
Being Single, did even better. Many times the
record was acclaimed 'Record Of The Week'. Armin
van Buuren said live on air on ID&T Radio
that "he was driven crazy" by the
many requests he received for playing Being
Single.
Under the pseudonym Poisonclub
the duo produced the famous track Ibeatza. This
track even made it in the UK top 100, and appeared
on at least 30 compilations worldwide.
Internationally the attention
for Ernesto vs Bastian has led to a lot of interest
from many record companies. The first foreign
record company which, in collaboration with
FTM Records, put Ernesto vs Bastian on the "international
map" is GangGo Records (known from Blank
& Jones) in Germany, They released a 12
inch of Being Single, which includes remixes
of the track by some well-known producers. The
second one is Anjuna Beats from England (known
from Above & Beyond), They start to release
a 12" of A few seconds after trancefer,
after this smashing bom , they are about to
release the big follow up "Stop 9.5",
Also Vale Music takes this famous club-hit under
his wings for Spain!!
The latest Release of
Ernesto vs Bastian, named Who is the Starter,
is very well received. The record has been played
by many DJ's, e.g. by Tiësto at his big
solo stadium concert in the Gelredome (the track
also appears on his latest DVD), by Marco V
at Sensation 2003 in the Amsterdam Arena and
by Armin van Buuren on ID&T Radio, the promos
made it even to the UK Coolcuts charts #3!!!.

dj , to name some , Ministry of sound radio(uk)
and N-joy(germany)
