Biography: Alex Peace has made various contributions to the electronic music industry for over 12 years. His experience in almost every aspect of the industry has given him the resources and the knowledge to perfect his craft and secure his future as a pioneer in the Chicago House Community.

Considered by most to be the leader of the Chicago Hard House movement, Alex has influenced thousands of dancefloors worldwide while producing and remixing countless Hard House anthems (including a #1 record in Italy with Donna Blakely). Alex showed his versatility as an Artist, DJ and Producer when he went back to his roots as an MC and began to feature his own vocal skills on groundbreaking projects such as "I Dominate Break Loops" and DJ Bam Bam’s "The Hardbeats". Last year, Alex laid down vocals for CZR & ITO’s “Bringin’ The Funk” 12” on Subliminal. From this Accapella came numerous releases [bootlegs if you will] sampling Alex’s vocals. However, nearly everyone would say his most publicized project was his collaboration with Bad Boy Bill as he co-wrote, co-produced and performed on the “Everybody” 12” single released on International House Records.

Throughout the years, Alex has found himself in the studio with the likes of CZR, Mazi, and Hatiras just to name a few. His collaborations as well as his own productions have been featured on various mix compilations including: Bad Boy Bill’s “Bangin' the Box Series” & “Behind The Decks”, Ministry of Sound Series and Frankie Bones’ “Factory 101”. With his own mix compilations selling more than 100,000 units combined, there is no doubt that his crowd’s unfaltering connection to his music keeps Alex on top of the game. Playing large-scale raves and club venues in cities such as Rotterdam (Holland), Toronto, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Seattle, Alex is well known for his live sets. His passion for his music puts him right at home in front of any size audience while his ability to relate to the audience has brought the crowd closer to the tables just to catch a glimpse of his technique; distinguishing him as a Maestro behind the decks. His “live” vocals over his set and his ability to communicate with the crowd on the MIC help bring the masses to "JACK" under one groove, Alex’s groove.

Launching his own Record Label “_FADEDMUZIK” in May of 2003, Alex has solidified his place in the House Community. The label’s debut release “From Inside the Speaker” licensed to Sonical Records in Belgium and a previously unreleased remix will be found on DJ Dan’s CD “Mixed Live” on Moonshine. In addition to his own label’s success, Alex collaborated with CZR on Texture Recordings’ “Can You Feel It” (released with high praise World Wide). This Winter Alex will release a fully licensed mix compilation with CZR entitled “Bringin’ The FUNK”: coinciding with their International tour sponsored by SHURE Record Needlz.
